- The nozzle is inserted in the fuel tank and the vehicle tag details are validated.
- Communication between the vehicle tag and the nozzle unit localises the transaction to that specific nozzle and only then can fuel be dispensed.
- Once refuelling is complete, the nozzle is returned to the pump.

How does it work
Fuel Inlet Tag
The fuel inlet tag is placed by the fuel tank inlet. The RF nozzle communicates with the fuel inlet tag and fuelling commences. If the two lose signal contact through the nozzle being removed from the vehicle, delivery stops immediately – even if the operator continues pressing the nozzle trigger.
Radio Frequency Unit
The RFN is a wireless device that slips over the nozzle and identifies the nozzle to the system. It is a robust system that is easy to install and does not require any adaptations to the nozzle. Only when the correct fuel nozzle is inserted in the fuel tank inlet will authorisation be approved and fuel be dispensed into the vehicle.
