This case study mock-up about XYZ solution aims to support you in the production of local case studies. In it, we will show what are the key elements to demonstrate TSG projects in terms of content and SEO guidelines. Check the best practice document too.
1. TITLE: An SEO-optimised title helps you rank for a keyword and makes the reader want to click through your page. It is essential to show that the content from the case study is relevant to the particular keyword/keyphrase of the search query.
Do a keyword research before to find out what your target audience is searching for. This will give you ideas for a good title.
Moreover, remember that the title should reflect the content of the case study. Use the title to briefly describe the project. Instead of writing that “TSG delivered a project to XPTO customer”, write “XYZ solution for XPTO type of customer”. This will help in better findability results as well.
Tip: Don’t write too long titles: stick to up to 60 characters so that the title completely appears in the search results query.
See some examples below:
Example 1
- Not optimised TSG completes the installation of an LNG and CNG station in northern Italy
- Optimised: Installation of LNG and CNG station in Italy
Example 2
- Not optimised: Forecourt solarisation: TSG installs solar panels on the rooftop of a service station in Italy
- Optimised:Â Solar panel installation solutions for forecourts
Example 3
- Not optimised: TSG delivers a complete Eurowag station in Poland
- Optimised: Eurowag service station with energy and payment solutions
Important: Edit the permalink of your case study with the main keywords/keyphrases. You don’t have to use prepositions or articles (such as “the”, “in”, “on”, “at”). Stick to the main nouns and the keywords you found out in the keyword research.

2. INTRODUCTION: Include general information about the project, mentioning that TSG delivered a site/hub/installation for customer XYZ, located in XXX part of the country. Introduce what their challenge was or how the project supports them in their strategy. Make sure to include your keyword or key phrase if you conducted an SEO research. See the SEO essentials in the manual.
Give a good overview to readers, without disclosing all the project details: these will come later on in the text. In this first part of the text, you need to make them interested to know further; highlight the value brought with this realisation.
Tip: The introduction can be typed in bold letters. This will give Google a more obvious hint about what is the introduction, and show that the page is well formatted.
Example:
In Reims, the 12th most populous city in France, a new restaurant belonging to a major fast-food chain wanted to offer its customers greater comfort and safety, in addition to greater energy efficiency. With this in mind, TSG France developed a complete technical solution to install the latest facilities on the site.
Challenges faced by the customer
3. CHALLENGE:Â In this second part, start to explain what were the customer needs, what they wanted to achieve with this project, or what was the problem they were trying to solve when they reached TSG. Make sure to mention if it is part of a larger initiative (for instance, the implementation of EV chargers in several service stations, or the solarisation of different sites).
You can also explain a little bit about the customer, its segment and importance in the country, and how this realisation supports them with their goals.
Example 1:
E100 is an international service provider for fleet companies with operations in Europe and Asia. Their project with TSG required a station that would provide maximum convenience for drivers and minimise refuelling times. With this brief, TSG Poland designed, equipped and installed the station using Dover Fueling Solutions’ dispensers, payment terminal and Prizma solution.
Example 2:
In the transition to more sustainable mobility, however, fleet owners and managers might find it hard to adjust to the latest guidelines. As they usually rely on fuel-based vehicles, shifting to electric or gas vehicles represents a challenge. While monitoring and reporting fuel usage can be a regular task, companies need to find ways of controlling electric vehicles’ recharging data.
In Sweden, Jinert wants to incorporate electric vehicles to their fleet while easily managing the consumption of electricity. Jinert is a privately owned company, founded in 1988, which provides complete solutions in lifting, specialised transport and heavy goods handling.
Solutions that TSG brought
4. SOLUTIONS: Provide all the information you can about the work that was done, so that potential customers can see the extent of TSG activities. Make sure you include good images of the complete installation or equipment, with or without technicians. Refer to our best practice document on images to support you.
It is always important to give a good overview of the project and show its magnitude: talk about where the sites are located, why the project is important and what it will bring to the customer. What is the added value for the customer?
Is it a new hub on a busy road in the country which will enable EV recharging on the way? Is it part of an important commercial area with high potential customers? Is it an strategic partnership for a Destination Charging hub? Remember that the readers don’t have the context of that project. You have to show them why it is a significative realisation. Remember to include links to other pages of the TSG website so people can learn more about the solutions.
If the images feature technicians, ensure that they are following all the HSSE rules when it comes to PPE and other safety equipment. Check with your local HSSE manager if necessary.
Example:
For the restaurant in Reims, the customer required a high-performance infrastructure that would maximise energy efficiency while providing a pleasant environment for visitors.
TSG was responsible for installing a brand-new commercial HVAC system that offers easy and precise management. Our team also took care of the plumbing installations and carried out further work in the restaurant kitchen, installing smoke extraction turrets and cooker hoods.
This was the 6th time that TSG France supported this customer with its services. Similar solutions were provided to other restaurants in the chain throughout the country, in the French cities of Nice, Perros-Guirec, Villeneuve-Loubet, Montluçon, and Lavau. There are more projects in the pipeline to modernise other restaurants, the next of which will be in Château-Thierry.

-

Important: align with the sales team on what TSG work was, to provide all the right details to your readers.
6. QUOTE AND RESULTS: A highly recommended addition to the case study is a quote from the customer, explaining why they chose TSG and/or why they think the project was successful with TSG’s support. Such testimonial can become a key element of the case study.
If you promote your content on social media using quotes, people can use these quotes on their search. Make sure you always attribute the quote correctly, either with the source or the author. This will support better ranking on Google results.
If the project already presents good results for the customer (increase in customers, better operational efficiency, higher water saving, less costs), make sure to also mention them!
"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum dolore eu fugiat nulla pariatur."
7. WRAP-UP – SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS, CALL-TO-ACTION (CTA) In the end, reinforce how TSG can support different customers with turn-key technical solutions for mobility. Refer to the Message House for inspiration to position TSG as an enabler of responsible mobility solutions.
You can also mention something specific about the type of work/business lines related to the project you just described. Finalise with a call-to-action, such as a form, with an action that you expect from your customer, such as “Any questions after reading this case? Let’s discuss them!”
Don’t forget to add categories to the case study such as “TSG Charge” and “TSG Systems”. You can add multiple categories if they apply.
Important: Remember to add links to other TSG pages throughout the case study. Internal links support your content rank better in the search results query.
